My name is Jeff Mwaniki. An artist based in Nairobi Kenya specializing in realism, surrealism, and contemporary art using oil, acrylic, and graphite mediums.

I was born in Embu and raised in a family of 6. I am a continuing fine arts student at Kenyatta University. I fell in love with art at a young age being inspired by comics and TV animations. It generally grew in me and I started doing it professionally in 2016. Over the years I’ve developed my talent and blessed many homes in Nairobi with family portraits.

I’ve also exhibited art in railways museum, Michael Joseph center and Art café. I’ve also been featured on KTN’s artistic Tuesday. I got enlisted to the General Service Unit and have served since, but choose not to let that be a limitation.

I hope to spread the Africanism ideology through art.
